Behind the numbers: JSF grantees that report receiving a site visit rate the Foundation significantly more positively than grantees that did not have a site visit on several measures, including how well the Foundation understands grantees' goals and strategy, its impact on grantees' ability to sustain their funded work, its awareness of challenges affecting grantees, and the Foundation's level of involvement in the development of their grant proposals.
